New to the San Clemente area (from Hawaii) is our featured artist Brad Scott. He’s an amazing photographer, painter, and loves to surf.
Brad is stoked to be here and fully enjoyed the big swell we just had during the Hurley U.S. Open of Surfing. There he got some incredible shots, and was able to meet up with Bethany Hamilton, who he has much respect for.
“She absolutely rips and I know that I wouldn’t want to be paddling into waves that she does, and I have both my arms. She is very inspiring.”
Here’s an inside peak into his schedule:
“Today I woke up at 5 in the morning and shot all day till sunset. Got some crazy shots of shore break at main beach in Laguna and some other good surf spots that are uncrowded. I was hired by my buddies to follow them around and shoot them surfing (we had about 4 sessions today) they are animals.”
